SEDOL Teacher Recognition Social
The Parent Advisory honored over 35 SEDOL teachers who were
mentioned favorably on the SEDOL parent satisfaction survey.
The teachers were not "nominated" in the traditional sense, but
were mentioned as parents related a positive experience they and
their child had in a classroom. It was a lot of
fun.

Grant A Rama
The Parent Mentor Project and the Parent Advisory Board shared a
booth at the SEDOL Grant-A-Rama last spring. There were
dozens of SEDOL projects displayed ranging from teaching sign
language to social skills.
Last year the SEDOL Foundation honored Chicago Bears Defensive Tackle Anthony Adams and his wife Andenika for their service. Anthony visited SEDOL students last fall during the “Take a Bear to School” event. Mrs. Adams then organized the Bears Wives Holiday Party — bringing goodie bags, football gear to try on and more Chicago Bears Team Members for the students to meet!.
