New Members Sought

The Parent Advisory Board is actively recruiting new members to carry on our work.  Some of our members have older children, and will soon "age-out" of the Board.   We are especially hopeful that parents of younger children with special needs will step up to join this board.


The SEDOL Parent Advisory Board is open to all parents, guardians and educations of children ages 3-22 who:

  • Attend a SEDOL school or sector classroom,
  • Receive special education or related services in their HOME District
  • Receive itinerant services, or
  • Attend a private/public/residential program.


Please review our website, consider the role you might play, contact us and keep this parent involvement thriving.


What We Do



Recent activities of the Parent Advisory Board Include:

  • Advising Administration on policies
  • Working with Parent Mentor Project
  • Conducting Parent Surveys
  • Hosting Teacher Appreciation
  • Participation in Grant-A-Rama
  • Supporting SEDOL Foundation Intitatives
  • Attending school Open Houses
